The Compliance Program Analyst (PA) performs a variety of complex analytical functions relative to the clientâs compliance with various laws, regulations executive orders, directives, and operating procedures.
The candidate will assist the Compliance and Auditing Team to develop methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes and systems. The candidate must possess a broad understanding and knowledge of the agency, its overall structures, mission, policies, and programs in order to identify the impact and effect of study finding and recommendations to the organization.
The candidate coordinates and finalizes special projects as assigned, subject to the approval of the Comp! liance and Auditing Team Lead(s). Special projects are all other assignments not specifically defined under this heading.
Qualifications
The PA is expected to comprehend a wide range of laws, regulations, policies and procedures and is expected to have the ability to judge between competing demands of management and potential long-term improvements via program changes. The PA will also be expected to influence management to act on or comply with policy direction, and negotiate realistic compromises, when required.
The PA works under the direction and guidance of the Compliance and Auditing Team Lead(s), with latitude for independent action and initiative. The position requires wide latitude in performing assignments and is responsible for determining work priorities within established milestone dates and within the overall mission as stated by the Program Management Unit, in collaboration with the Compliance and Auditing Team. The position also re! quires the PA to exercise initiative and resourcefulness in evaluating ! programs, making recommendations and balancing them against competing demands of management
The candidate must be a proficient analyst who has experience in the application of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of complex managerial processes and systems.
Specific knowledge, skills and abilities required by the position
include:
· Comprehensive knowledge of the range of administrative principles, practices, processes, policies, and laws that guide and influence a complex organization
· Knowledge of Counterterrorism, Intelligence Community, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and United States program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the worth of program accomplishments.
· Ability to gather information and analyze data within established timeframes, and draw conclusions in order to develop solutions t! o problems confronting management.
· Ability to define and develop specific programs with detailed operational processes.
· Ability to professionally interact with management officials and bring about sound decisions, and implement appropriate strategies to effect those decisions.
· Must have at least a Bachelor Degree
· Must have current/active Top Secret clearance, eligibility for SCI and willingness to undergo a CI polygraph.
