Forensic Consultant - DC/VA/MD

Description: AccessData is hiring Forensic Consultant - DC/VA/MD right now, this occupation will be reside in Virginia. Responsible for all aspects of customer/client service, inclu! ding configuration and software recommendations, system analysis, and technical support. This position may require travel up to 75%.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Use forensic software applications and other utilities for collecting, processing, review, analysis and production of electronic evidence using standard computer forensics and evidence handling techniques.
  • Assist clients in reconstructing records that uncover key facts and insights through electronic discovery, computer forensics and data analytics.
  • Provide superior account management and customer service through effective communication, responsive follow-through, and advocacy for client issues. Prioritize and resolve issues of varying severity ensuring delivery and project timelines are met and on budget.
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and conduct eDiscovery and computer forensic projects utilizing skills related to the collection, review, analysis and preservation of ele! ctronic data and evidence.
  • Stay current on the latest! computer forensic technology, analyzing trends with AccessData solutions
Requirements:
  • Security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years’ experience in computer forensics field.
  • 5+ years of technical experience including customer account management.
  • Experience with DBMS, networking architectures and protocols, computer hardware, operating systems and file systems. (Windows, Unix, Linux, OSX)
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients, senior managers, lawyers, partners and internal stake holders. Skilled at establishing and fostering positive client relationships and partnerships.
  • Industry certifications such as: ACE, CFCE, ENCE, CISSP, SCERS, and PMP, a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage advanced tools such as Virtual Appliances (VMWAre, Citrix, etc.) and experience with network/packet-level analysis tools (Wireshark, Snort, tcpdump, etc.)
  • Experience with FTK, Helix, E! ncase Sleuthkit or other forensic analysis tools. Industry certifications such as: ACE, CFCE, ENCE, CISSP, SCERS, and PMP, a plus.
  • Self-motivated with experience in a self-directed work environment. Adept at prioritizing.
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients, senior managers, lawyers, partners and internal stake holders. Skilled at establishing and fostering positive client relationships and partnerships.
