Description of Job Responsibilities & Functions:
Prepare, exami! ne and negotiate contracts involving TNS sales and service agreements, leases, licenses and other contracts. Advise internal TNS business personnel on complex contract issues and disputes. Identify liability and operational risks and work with General Counsel, sales and operations personnel and other groups within the company to efficiently develop and implement solutions consistent with TNS’ business objectives, including with respect to new product/service offerings. Analysis and revision of proposed contract terms and process in relation to TNS corporate policy Work on other legal matters such as mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, intellectual property, marketing, real estate, regulatory, securities, litigation and other matters as assigned by the General Counsel. Develop positive working relationships with internal business units and TNS customers..
Job Experience: (knowledge, specific skill sets, # of years of relative experience)
Req! uired
4+ years of experience negotiating and drafting comm! ercial contracts in the data communications, software, payments industry or financial services industry. Ability to work in a fast paced sales driven environment while maintaining an energetic and professional attitude. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, well organized with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision. Experience with technology and general business issues strongly preferred. Desired
6+ years of experience Job Qualifications: (professional and/or technical certifications, education, training, etc.)
Required:
J.D. from an accredited university Undergraduate degree (e.g., BA , BS or other) from an accredited university
