The role of Paralegal is to perform specifically delegated, substantive legal work for which a lawyer is responsible. This position is the Multifamily Housing Finance S! ection, located in the Richmond, VA office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drafting and tracking transaction documentation
• Title and survey review and analysis
• Preparing closing checklists and timelines

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Possesses strong client relations skills.
• Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented with strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
• Will be able to juggle multiple assignments in a fast-paced team oriented environment.
• Will possess impeccable attention to detail and analytical skills.

Education and/or Experience:

• Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree, and certificate of completion from a paralegal training program, American Bar Association (ABA) approval preferred.
• Has 5 or more years of experience with commercial real estate transactio! n; Law firm and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac experience preferred; o! r any combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
