The Commonwealth's Attorneys' Services Council, the state agency responsible for providing training and services to Virginia's prosecutors, is seeking interested applicants for the position of staff attorney.
Minimum Qualifications
Key responsibilities include:
? Preparing and conducting state and local training
? Serving as a half-time Violence Against Women Resource Prosecutor
? Contributing to the development and maintenance of grant programs
? Developing and revising training curricula for prosecutors' need! s
? Providing legal and technical assistance to prose! cutors
? Researching prosecution-related issues
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications include prosecution-related experience, a demonstrated commitment to combating violence against women, excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal relationship skills. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required. Desktop publishing skills are a plus.
