We are currently seeking an Associate - Natural Resource Economist to support Natural Resource Damage Assessments (NRDAs), quantification of ecological assets, and due diligence evaluations of international financial transactions.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with consulting services on NRD cases including developing and leading technical analyses Assisting with the development and design and implementation of surveys for determining economic losses Conducting analysis of ecosystem services dependencies and linkages as part of corporate strategic environmental management Qualifications for this position include: Ph.D. in Economics Experience with habitat and resource equivalency analysis, net environmental benefits analysis, and recreational benefits analysis Experience with decision analysis Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Solid leadership, organizational, and communication skills Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, and manage time effectively Ability to interact with managers, scientists, attorneys, and administrative staff
