General Summary:
LMI is actively looking for a government contracts attorney with government contracts experience to join our in-house legal department. Some experience as a full-time government contracts lawyer at a large law firm and/or in an in-house law department is preferred. This person would have to be able to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of agreements with public and private sector clients Ensuring regulatory compliance with the FAR, DFARS, etc. Assisting in responding to RFPâs, advising internal business teams on government procurement rules and requirements Advising on conflicts of interest, disclosures, and M&A related inquires. Other areas as needed, including export controls, internal investigations, internal training development,
Requirements:
Candidate must possess some government contracts transactional and compliance experience. Must be admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligible for admission to in-house practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
