Provides expert three dimensional animation design support to AFOSI in support of a broad range of investigative, research, and organizational requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provides direct investigative support to ongoing criminal, fraud and counterintelligence investigations, through case consultation and product development.
- Prepares graphic renderings for use in support of witness testimony in various military and civilian courts.
- Prepares graphic renderings for use in support of case briefings to commanders, attorneys, and law enforcement organizations.
- Develops two and three dimensional animations and illustrations of crime scenes based on photographs, sketches, notes, reports, and in some cases, personal observation. The renderings should allow the user to walk through or manipulate the rendering in such a way as to demonstrate the context of various pieces of evidence in the scene.
- Develops two and three dimensional medical animations and illustrations of physical injuries based on photographs, sketches, notes, reports and consultation with forensic experts. Renderings should allow the user to view the injuries on the model from various angles and provide context to the injuries with respect to location, size, and when applicable, patterns.
- Develops two and three dimensional animations and illustrations, of forensic interpretations of crime scenes in order to portray the sequencing of events involved in the commission of a crime based on photographs, sketches, notes, written reports, and consultation with forensic experts. The use of models within the crime scene may be required to illustrate a series of events that may have occurred during the commission of a crime.
- Develops two and three dimensional medical animations and illustrations, of forensic interpretations of mechanisms of physical injuries in order to portray the sequencing of events involved in the commission of a crime based on photographs, sketches, notes, written reports, and consultation with forensic experts. Renderings should allow the user to view the interpreted mechanism of injuries on the model from various angles.
- Performs administrative functions and any other duties as assigned in support of all the aforementioned activities.
- Other duties as assigned to meet business/operational needs.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:

Expert knowledge of graphic design and animation principles, techniques, and software pertaining to the development of three dimensional graphic illustrations and animations.
Expert knowledge of posing three dimensional human figures demonstrating full range of motion of various extremities and illustrating locations of internal organs.
Expert knowledge of developing three dimensional renderings and animations of locations from photographs, sketches, written reports, and dialogue.
Knowledge of basic human anatomy and pathology.
Knowledge of professional guidelines for development of technical reports and presenting professional information publicly.
Education and/or Experience:
The individual must have a bachelorâs degree (BA or BS) from an accredited university. Prior law enforcement, national security, intelligence, and/or professional training/experience is preferred and considered complementary to the position. Skill in interpersonal relations, ability to work well with others and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to all organizational levels, including senior military leadership inside and outside of AFOSI, and influential individuals from other federal, state, and local law enforcement and intelligence agencies. A combination of education and work experience may be substituted
Computer Skills:
A minimum of 2 years of relatable experience working with various graphic design software including Adobe Design is required.

Clearance:
Active TS/SCI is required.
