UNIX ADMINISTRATOR

Minimum five years UNIX and/or Linux system administration/engineering experience Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
o UNIX background
o Advanced Bash Shell Scripting Experience
o Clustering, Containers and Virtualization
o Operating System installation and configuration
o Knows and understands network ports and protocols
o Knows and understands basic networking and routing
o Knows and understands UNIX and network security fundamentals
o Understanding of basic Internet technologies
o Experience Scanning/Securing Systems
o Retina/SRR/DISA etc
o Experience working with Oracle databases
o Advanced troubleshooting experience that can be applied to hardware, software and integration issues
o Experience in programming/scripting languages preferred (in order of importance)
o Java familiarity with the following software packages prefer! red
o Excellent communication and writing skills
Additional Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Oracle Databases, CouchDB Familiarity with Geospatial Intelligence CMMI level 3 process and practice experience DoD Clearance, Secret or higher
