Description
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Document Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will be supporting the USPS ETS contract at the USPS-Dewey Bldg location in Merrifield, VA.
This position will be supporting USPS Corporate Security Information Catalog Program (ICP) which serves as the eDiscovery unit for the USPS and supports the USPS General Counsel, Office of the Inspector General, Postal Inspection Service, FOIA Office and other entities through the retrieval, preservation, and delivery of pertinent electronically stored information.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
The candidate will perform! the duties under the supervision of a USPS Program Manager.
Duties are to include:
Evaluating and analyzing results from different data sources against the base requirements for the case to ensure results match the requirements, protecting and preserving ESI from different technological platforms such as archived email, Outlook, Internet, and Intranet, and from custodians "My Documents" files.
Log requests/cases into a USPS System (ICP Litigation Hold Log) to keep track of status and also update it when needed.
In PCTS (USPS Time/Expense Tracking System) create a Task name / number to track and enter time spent creating and processing requests/cases for monthly reports.
Create a case manifest to track and enter activities into a customized tracking system for monthly reports.
Analysis of electronic data, related metrics for requests by Attorneys, OIG, USPS and Managers.
Occasionally performs other job-related! tasks in support of primary duties.
Responsible for managing every phase of the assignment through case completion.
Self-directed and self motivated with ability to perform and complete tasks with minimal guidance.
Knowledge of MS Excel and Word required; data entry and working with spreadsheets.
High School plus 2 or more years of experience.
Candidate must be able to obtain a USPS Sensitive clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior legal or para-legal experience as well as legal studies would be considered over other experience.
