CORPORATE PARALEGALNORFOLK, VA Harbor Group International, LLC, a commercial real estate investment company headquartered in Norfolk, VA, is expanding its in house legal department and is recruiting for ! a Corporate Paralegal/Legal Secretary.
Candidates should have 3-4 years experience in a corporate legal department or law firm working on various corporate projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial real estate transactions, landlord/tenant, litigation management, human resource matters or corporate governance and will thrive in a fast paced environment. This position will work closely with the incumbent staff, directly supporting two attorneys and will handle diverse matters including litigation and dispute resolution in multiple states, SEC filings, formation and qualification of corporate entities and maintenance of minute books and other corporate regulatory documents. MUST have strong Excel skills and be able to adapt and maintain several Excel spreadsheets on various matters. Must also be a self motivated, team player that can juggle many projects. Paralegal certificate helpful but not mandatory.
