Detailed Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Develops and set business goalsand objectives for the Tax Department; ensures tax team is fully informed andadding value in areas of compliance, tax financial reporting, andoperational/development support.
2. Manages, either directly orindirectly, a team of domestic and international tax professionals. Ensures that the team is aligned with companyvalues; maintains coordinated communications and efforts among global taxfunctions; recruits, develops, coaches and retains high quality professionalstaff; demonstrates ownership and responsibility for succession management andtalent development.
3. Manages interface with: outside tax advisors, including attorneys, accounting firms and other taxconsultants to ensure the most efficient tax position; with government agenciesregarding tax positions; and with shareholder tax represen! tatives.
4. Ensures local tax compliancein host countries and any other jurisdictions where such obligations may arise,including gross receipts, income, value added, sales and use, transactional, advalorem, payroll, franchise, net worth, and property tax compliancerequirements; review of all tax filings; assist with tax audits and managementof risk areas.
5. Work closely with businessdevelopment teams on the efficient tax structuring of new projects, includingmergers and acquisitions.
6. Directs the preparation of taxmodels during the annual planning cycle to ensure proper capture of cash taxprojection and integration of jurisdictional rules and other complexitiesneeded to accurately forecast taxes.
7. Develops and communicates a company-viewon judgmental tax related areas related to financial accounting recognition andthe impacts on quarterly and annual statements. Reviews and develops tax positionsin conjunction with financial accountin! g, assists with the review of allquarter and year-end tax scheduling to! support financial reporting; supports/defends positions with external auditors.
8. Provides tax information toshareholders and other stakeholders as required; supports shareholder inquirieson tax-related areas and initiatives.
9. Advises executive managementregarding issues associated with Human Resources including assisting in thedevelopment of policies and implementing programs for the efficient delivery ofcost effective teammate benefits and compensation.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION& FORMAL TRAINING:
Bachelorâs Degree in a related field,required.
Masterâs Degree in Tax, MBA, a Law Degreein Tax and/or a CPA, required.
WORKEXPERIENCE
15 or more years of U.S., International and domesticcorporate tax experience with a broad span on control, required.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABI! LITIES:
A. Excellent written and oralcommunications skills appropriate to a person able to advise senior managementand to represent the company with outside firms and agencies.
B. Demonstrated track record ofworking collaboratively across global organizations within broader finance andbusiness teams to deliver creative solutions and leadership for attainment ofthe financial goals.
C. Ability to work independently,keeping management advised as to appropriate matters and issues.
D. Experience with local foreigntaxation requirements.
E. Strong analytical andorganizational skills
F. Demonstrates initiative andeffectively identifies and drives problem-solving opportunities
G. Computer experience withemphasis on the ability to model in Excel.
H. Ability to influence seniormanagement, business partners and key stakeholders
