Our client, one of the fastest growing Insurance Carriers, is offering a career opportunity as a Workersâ Compensation C! laims Team Lead for their Virginia office. Someone best suited for this job would be a responsible, energetic individual who shows great leadership qualities. As a Team Lead, you would train and mentor 3 to 4 claims examiners, confirm coverage and policy information, and answer correspondence and inquiries promptly. You would also be responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary.

Must have at least 1+ years of Supervisor/Management experience in Workers' Compensation.
Excellent time management skills
Excellent team-building and leadership skills with ability to professionally assist and instruct staff

Multiple jurisdictional experience preferred but not required
Job Responsibilities
As a Workersâ! Compensation Team Lead, you will manage complex account assig! nments and handle customer service issues, provide direct support to management, establish proper loss reserve and negotiate settlements. Additional responsibilities for the Workersâ Compensation Team Lead include:
Confirm coverage and policy information
Maintain control of outside vendors and attorneys
Pursue Workersâ Compensation liens and subrogation
Lead and coordinate special projects Job Requirements:
As a Workersâ Compensation Team Lead, you must be knowledgeable, capable of performing clerical tasks, and be able to handle a diverse workload. Additional requirements of the Workersâ Compensation Team Lead include:
5+ years of Workersâ Compensation claims handling experience
2+ years of experience in a Claims Supervisory role
Good technical knowledge of claims management
Possess leadership, management, and motivational expertise
Exceptional analytical and interpretive skills
Strong organizational an! d interpersonal capabilities
Ability to work in a team environment
