Investment Banker Associate The candidate will work as an integral part of an investment banking team, executing financial analysis, valu! ation work, strategic financial research, complex modeling for preparation of materials used in client presentations or transactions under the direction of more experienced personnel. Will prepare materials used in the sale, acquisition and/or financing of clients. Prepare investment memoranda and management presentations. Foster relationships with existing and potential clients in order to generate new business. Participate in pitches and management presentation meetings. Effectively manage people and projects.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with exceptional academic credentials with academic coursework or internship in finance or related field, pursuing MBA or have comparable education and related training. Master's degree is desired. J.D. degree, CFA, and/or CPA designation preferred. Must have 3-4 years of work experience with a quantitative background. Should complete Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Series 79, and 63 ! or equivalent licenses within 6 months of employment. Prior ex! perience in accounting, finance, or investment banking preferred. Excellent analytical, quantitative and research skills are needed. Should have ability to travel as needed.
