Our client is currently seeking a MEDICARE/MEDICAID BUSINESS ANALYST.Responsible for implementation of Medicaid/Medicare encounters reporting projects. Primary duties may inclu! de, but are not limited to: 1.) Interpret state documents including companion guides and implementation guides for encounters submissions from various government entities 2.) Develop business requirement documents for encounters 3.) Experience with the standard HIPAA 837, 835, 277, NCPDP file formats as they relate to encounters transmissions. 4.) May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules. 5.) Excellent written and oral communication skills 6.) Requires a BS/BA degree; 4-5 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 7.) PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, including SQL Server and Transact-SQL, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires a BS/BA degree, 5-7 years of business analysis experience that includes knowledge of systems capabilities and busi! ness operations; or any combination of education and experienc! ed, which would provide an equivalent background. SKILLS: Thorough understanding of computer applications and programming required. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Good analytical and problem-solving skills required.
