Growing and fast-paced Tysons Corner boutique law firm, focusing on business law and civil litigation matters, is seeking a motivated, organized and friendly individual to coordinate the firmâs marketing efforts and assist its attorneys with other administrative projects. The anticipated ratio of marketing to other administrative support is 70% marketing and 30% administrative. The position provides the opportunity for someone looking to lead a professional service companyâs marketing efforts throug! h social media, email campaigns using CRM and Constant Contact! , traditional corporate collateral, and event planning. The position is ideal for someone with 1-5 years of marketing experience and a bachelorâs degree in marketing, business or a related field. The candidate must be willing to work on non-marketing administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate:
- has demonstrated excellent writing skills;
- has demonstrated experience managing corporate (non-personal) social media accounts such as LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube;
- has the ability to communicate on social media platforms in a consistent, on-brand voice;
- has experience developing and using search terms (SEO), social media tools, and web-based analytics (i.e. Google Analytics) along with the ability to adjust strategies based on findings;
- has developed marketing collateral, such as brochures and one-page summaries;
- is detail-oriented, organized and responsive;
- is able to work independently, one-on-one and in group setti! ngs to achieve multiple marketing goals within deadlines; and
- is able to interact well with clients and co-workers, work collaboratively with the firmâs attorneys in group marketing meetings, and work independently to achieve the firmâs marketing objectives.
Marketing related job duties will include:
- providing guidance to attorneys and outside web design company on the firmâs website, and editing and coordinating the publishing of attorney blogs;
- hands-on management of all social media platforms for the firm, including Twitter and Linkedin;
- creating, evaluating and altering social media strategies to grow the firmâs social media reach and optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase search rankings and web traffic;
- utilizing the firmâs CRM system (Highrise) and Constant Contact to promote the firm;
- tracking marketing opportunities and organizing the firmâs marketing events;
- preparing! marketing meeting agendas; and
- monitoring, measuring, and anal! yzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Non-marketing administrative tasks may include preparing PowerPoint presentations, document editing, preparing meeting materials and assisting on court filing.
