SAFETY ADMINISTRATOR

We are currently looking for a Safety Administrator for Irving Forest Services Limited located in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Qualifications:
- Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate's Degree
- Diploma in Occupational Heath Safety and Environmental processes or equivalent would be considered an asset
- Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years related work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve and work as an influencer within a team environment
- Strong process improvement and change management mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge in Intelex would be considered an asset
- Investigation Training would be considered an asset
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of Safety Management System
- Review investigations and corrective actions to identify trends
- Administrator for various programs including ISN and Intelex
- Trainer for various safety related programs
- Audit programs to ensure compliance to the standards
- Participate in safety initiatives
- Assist in incident investigations.
