The attorney will join the Legal Department organization that primarily supports Corporate Technology, Corporate Information Technology, Finance Services and the Corporate Administration operation, and a member of the team that provides legal support for information security matters across the enterprise. This is a 5 month minimum job that can last upto 2.5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, application and enforcement of information security policies in IT, Network, Technology and other areas of the company.
- Provide support for Verizon operations considered for global sourcing, to facilitate the appropriate, compliant and secure movement of work and function.
- Support various Verizon security groups with regard to information security matters.
- Provide subject matter expertise to support a variety of purchase, sales and corporate transactions
