For detail informations about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. WORK FROM HOME!! We are seeking two Nurse Field Case Managers and one Vocational Field Case Manager. The requirements are as follows: Nurse Field Case Manager (RN)--Northern Virginia /Washington D.C. area. Nurse Field Case Manager (RN) Hampton, Norfolk -- Tidewater area Responsible for assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals involved in the medical recovery process. You will work as an intermediary between carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers and employees while you manage the medical recovery progress of the injured worker. You will ensure appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services that will assist the injured worker effectively back into the workplace at an optimal level of functioning. REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure in state of operation. Three or more years of recent clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation. Must have Workers Compensation experience. Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Required. PREFERRED EDUCATION/TRAINING BSN desirable. Strong clinical background in orthopedics, neurology, or rehabilitation useful. Strong cost containment background, such as utilization review or managed care also useful. Certification as a CIRS, CDMS or CCM preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
Vocational Case Manager Must have Masters Level Education and CRC, CVE or CCM Certification to provide Vocational Case Management Services in the Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. areas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting individuals with disabilities return to the workforce. You will perform Vocational Assessments, Develop Rehabilitation Plans, Provide Job Search Skills Training, Develop Resumes, Provide Job Development and Expert Testimony. Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Required. Workers Compensation experience preferred, but not required. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not required.
