LEGAL ACCOUNT SPECIALIST

To provide support to Legal Accounts Officer and Legal Accounts Manager in the process of securing payment through legal action.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education:
Equivalent of two-year college degree in related discipline.
Experience :
Minimum two (2) years general office experience and a minimum of one (1) year experience in legal collections, employed by a collection attorney or civil court experience. Must be thoroughly familiar with the process of taking judgement, filing garnishments, debtor interrogatories and fieri facias.
Other Minimum Qualifications:
Must have good word processing skills. Must possess good communication and negotiating skills. Be familiar with law and court systems relative to collections, estates, and bankruptcies. Must possess good organizational and analytical skills in order to determine appropriate action to be taken on individual accounts. Be highly self-motivated in order to maintain a high level of productivity. Communicates and works with clients and their attorneys in the resolution of problem accounts and the processing of all accounts. Deals with difficult or offensive debtors and remains tactful and firm. Required to respond quickly and appropriately to all questions from clients and their attorneys as well as from the debtors on accounts. Works in a normal office environment.
