Description
Responsible for the protection of the mortgage servicing portfolio by adhering to Government Regulations and Investor Requirements. Accurately reflects ! foreclosure status on Servicing Systems. Responsible for the timely foreclosure of accounts to comply with Investor requirements to include claim filing. Frequent contact with foreclosing attorney to ensure state guidelines and regulations are in compliance.
Duties include customer responsiveness, handling all required call volumes, and maintaining delinquency rates within industry standards. Frequent contact with foreclosing attorney to ensure state guidelines and regulations are in compliance.
Responsible for handling complex Pre-Foreclosure and Foreclosure issues. May occasionally train junior staff members and provide guidance to very small groups of Foreclosure Specialists.
Relationships:
May interact with other Default Departments to ensure compliance to Federal, State and Local laws and requirements. May interact with in-house counsel to coordinate legal complaints.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
! Typically 3+ years of mortgage default related experience
!
Data Entry (10 Key) skills are essential
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
