Collections Representative
Location: Waynesboro, Virginia
Description: nTelos Inc. is at the momment seeking for Collections Representative right now, this occupation will be dwelled in Virginia. More details about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. Assist in all Wireless collection efforts in reducing write-off portfolio and churn.
Reviewing non-pay accounts, adding Early Termination Fees when applicable, sending Final Notice! Letters as required by law and preparing accounts for submission to Outside Collection Agencies.
Reviewing reporting of accounts with established ECAs and NSFs for processing manual DNPs.
Assist in reviewing/processing of received Bankruptcy filings and submitting Proof of Claims where applicable.
Preparation and distribution of Daily Management Reports for DNPs, TDs and PDs.
Assist in the management of daily emails, phone calls, and written communications addressing collection items with Outside Collections Agencies, External Contacts (Attorneys, Courts, and Customers, and Internal Departments).
Assist in the monitoring of High Toll Usage and process manual DNPs
Requirements:
- Education: Two years post high school education preferred.
- Related Experience: Two years of related or comparable work experience.
- Special Training or Competence:
o Accuracy and attention to detail ! are essential.
o Competent computer skills should include Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, and Word). Experience with Query software beneficial.
o The ability to multi-task and manage priorities are essential.
o Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is desirable.
