In this position, you will be a member of the Legal Department of Rosetta Stone working under the supervision of the General Counsel and will responsible for ! supporting the General Counsel and the Legal Department generally in the performance of their duties and in acting as a liaison between the General Counsel and the other senior executives and the Board of Directors of Rosetta Stone. What would you do in this position?
  • Review and analyze case and/or administrative files and documents to summarize, extract and/or digest information requested by General Counsel and other attorneys in Legal Department.
  • Prepares and reviews correspondence, routine notices, memoranda and reports at the direction of the General Counsel and other attorneys in Legal Department. Assist in answering questions and responding to requests directed to the General Counsel.
  • Conduct legal and information research using available resources including law libraries, online, and government agencies under direction of General Counsel and other attorneys in department.
  • Coordinate, organize and develop tracking system to monitor matters, projects, assignments and deadlines. Create and maintain databases, summaries, tables and charts to assist attorneys in projects and assignments.
  • Screens incoming calls and ! mail; maintains busy travel and meeting calendar.
  • Arranges air/ground transportation and lodging and develops itineraries/agendas.
  • Assists the General Counsel in the management and tracking of litigation and other matters, including matter updating and coordination with internal and external counsel.
  • Arranges meetings and maintains and coordinates all meeting materials for the General Counsel.
  • Serves as a liaison between the General Counsel and the other senior management and board.
  • Performs administrative duties such as photocopying, filing, faxing and arranging courier delivery services.
  • Maintains and coordinates meeting materials for the General Counsel.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours or travel as required.
Responsibility Qualifications

What you have to bring to the table:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant/paralegal working closely with senio! r level attorneys or at least 3 years of experience as an executive ass! istant or legal assistant/paralegal in a publicly held company at the senior executive level.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Bachelor’s diploma from a four-year college required. J.D. preferred.
  • Sound judgment and analytical skills with ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy while managing multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Internet, Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis and/or other online legal information systems.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to gather facts, analyze, organize and summarize information.
  • Willingness to complete wide range of administrative tasks as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively and interact with senior level executives and directors.
  • High degree of professionalism, trustworthiness, and a demonstrated ability to handle h! ighly confidential information.
  • Pro-active attitude with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills.
