Hunton & Williams LLP is actively recruiting a talented Benefits Manager who will provide leadership for the firm’s domestic and international benefit programs. Successful candidate will plan and implement! benefit programs that maximize benefit and tax-sheltered opportunities for partners and enhance the recruitment and retention of highly qualified lawyers and staff. Specific responsibility includes strategic planning and administration of benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment, and disability, as well as retirement plans; performing market research to determine competitive plans and staying abreast of latest benefit trends, legal issues and cost containment initiatives; developing requests for proposals, evaluating the responses, and developing pricing for benefit plan selections; representing the firm in negotiations and problem resolutions with third-party administrators or insurers of all benefit plans; ensuring that vendor performance meets the high expectations of the firm’s lawyers and staff; and overseeing development and delivery of effective communications to explain benefit plans for new lawyers and staff, ! for introduction of new plans, or in connection with renewal o! f existing plans.
