Personal Assistant
Personal Assistant needed for busy Vacation Rental host in the Oxnard/Ventura area.
Looking for my “Number 2” to help me run a 25 property vacation rental management company. The Properties are near the beach, mainly located in Oxnard’s Silver Strand, Hollywood Beach, and Ventura’s Pierpont. Our Company prides itself on being host-centric, not a commercial real estate company’s side-gig. We are hands-on with guests and always a text away. Our main goals are stellar 5star reviews for our customer service and cleanliness, and to turn guests into long-time friends who come back year after year.
My ideal Assistant will be a reliable self-starter, have flexible hours, not be afraid to roll up their sleeves, and be looking to learn about this market as a career. We have a small maintenance crew to support, virtual assistants and various management and marketing systems that include social media. Bring your work ethic, organization skills, and easy personality to our team.
By the way, if you have commitments that might keep you from working any particular day of the week or time of day, be interested as a summer job only, or have a big vacation planned soon, this may not be the job for you. While we are always striving to work fewer hours by being more efficient, right now I need an individual focused on moving this company to the next level with me.
By making sure every guest has what they need upon arrival (so we don’t need to deliver it during their stay), and ensure the cleaners have coffee and shampoo, etc. refills in the closet before they clean, we don’t need to do double work and can focus on the fun stuff like blogging about the tacos at Surf and Taco.
You must live either in Oxnard or Ventura for easy access to the properties for that “emergency after-hours fire pit lighting” for a guest. Most of your day will be spent visiting properties and we have an office in Camarillo inside our main warehouse. We will start every day with a meeting or phone call and plan.
Some of the duties of this job:
- Inspecting properties prior to guest arrival for a 5star presentation
- Reseting TVs, checking on Wifi speed, etc.
- Adding a welcome gift or resupply marketing materials
- Tracking replenishment inventory in owners closets
- Keeping track of check-in/out calendar daily, and confirming cleaning schedules
- On call for emergency calls (lockouts, missing amenities, etc)
- Field calls by guests on the phone application.
- Helping guests book and answer questions.
- Help me with our many projects.
This is a very rewarding position if you have ever thought you wanted to own and operate a short term rental.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
