Posting Summary:
The Department of Radiology & Medical Imaging seeks a web designer. The incumbent develops and maintains the Department's Internet and Intranet website presence. Incumbent performs technical and creative functions in the management of an informative, user-friendly, and visually appealing website(s). In addition to writing, editing, designing, and proofreading site content, incumbent works closely with the technical team to maintain website standards and new content development, and develops site promotions and online outreach campaigns, including research program initiatives. Incumbent collaborates with the Web Development Center, School of Medicine, and Medical Center Marketing. Position is term-limited and is partially grant funded and contingent upon future grant funding.

Some - up to 4 years

Considerable - 4 to 7 years
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Highly skilled in written and verbal communications 2. Extensive website content management experience 3. Proven track-record of successful project management 4. Expertise in marketing communications 5. Proven systems and critical thinking skills 6. Strong attention to detail 7. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; able to respond quickly to changing priorities 8. Ability to confidently make presentations to a wide range of audiences 9. Skilled in developing planning meeting agendas and conducting productive, well-run meetings 10. Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and meet project deadlines 11. Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills 12. Able to identify and resolve issues in a timely and productive manner 13.
